HSBC and the automated sales guy
Tuesday, February 19th, 2008I don’t like being tricked or lied to. HSBC has a new program where their operators call to sell you services, but you don’t hear them. They are using some chat program to control what the bot talking to you says.
I have been messing with the bot every time it calls (several times a day). Today a girl got on and said, oh no that is just a guy in training. I told her I didn’t like being lied to, that I know they are using it to mask accents, and that I do not wish to talk to a robotic voice. EVER.
And I don’t want to buy services….I keep a zero balance why do I need account protection? And how many people (real or fake) do I need to tell that to before they stop calling me??
